01 / The mission

Building community through racing

Grassroots racing is at its best when people feel like they belong.

The Home Track Initiative exists to support the local racing ecosystem: the short tracks, drivers, crews, volunteers, fans, families, businesses, and community partners who keep it alive.

We use storytelling, photography, useful resources, and community-focused programs to show what happens when racing becomes a place for connection—not just competition.

We want to help good ideas travel, give positive work a larger platform, and create new ways for people and organizations to invest in the future of hometown racing.

What guides us

Community over competition.

01

Community

People come first.

We create stronger connections between tracks, teams, fans, families, and the towns that support them.

02

Positivity

We lift each other up.

We celebrate the people doing good work and make room for more encouraging voices in grassroots racing.

03

Grassroots

Local tracks. Local people.

We put attention and resources where the sport begins: at hometown tracks and in the communities around them.

04

Integrity

Do the right thing.

We build trust through honest stories, respectful partnerships, and follow-through.

05

Legacy

Stronger today. Better tomorrow.

We help protect what makes local racing special while building a healthier future for the next generation.
